About the Creator & the Heart Behind Art 2 Heal 4 Hue

I am Casey, and I created Art2Heal4Hue from a place of love, purpose, and a deep belief in the power of creativity. As an art teacher and an artist, I have seen how art can reach people in ways that words simply cannot. It can comfort, connect, and create space for healing. This project began when a former student, a four-time cancer survivor, shared her dream of creating a community coloring book. Art had been her lifeline through years of treatment, and she wanted to offer that same hope to others. When she brought the idea to me, she may not have known, I wouldn’t just help her make it happen, I would give everything I had to expand it into something much bigger. Art2Heal4Hue is for hospital patients, veterans, seniors, survivors of abuse, foster youth, and anyone who needs to feel seen, supported, and uplifted. It brings people together through creativity and kindness, reminding us that we are never alone. This mission is also deeply personal. When my father was in hospice, I promised him I would do everything I could to bring comfort and light to others navigating illness or hardship. He always believed in me and in my art. He once told me I had a gift for touching people’s hearts through art, and encouraged me to share that gift as far and wide as I could. I carry that with me every day. Art2Heal4Hue is more than a coloring book. It’s a growing community rooted in compassion, creativity, and connection. It supports the artists who create the work, just as much as the people who receive it. Together, we are healing, growing, and lifting one another through art, one color at a time.
