was born from a powerful dream shared between a dedicated art teacher and her student, a four-time cancer survivor who spent her childhood in hospital rooms, searching for hope and inspiration. Together, they transformed that journey into a movement of healing and resilience. Each page, created from original local art, invites you to color stories of strength, courage, and the will to push through challenges. This is more than a book, it’s a gift of inspiration for anyone seeking light in their darkest moments.
Each page is filled with intention, created to provide moments of peace, creativity, and comfort to those who need it most: patients in hospitals, veterans, seniors, shelters, and others facing difficult circumstances.

A Journey Through Fall
The next seasonal edition of the Art 2 Heal 4 Hue coloring book and gallery show. Local artists are invited to submit full-color artwork inspired by the theme “Serenity,” which will be featured in a juried group exhibit and transformed into black-and-white pages for a community coloring book. Selected works will be displayed at The Art Center in Bakersfield and shared with hospitals, shelters, and care centers. This project celebrates art as a source of comfort, connection, and healing.

Art2Heal4Hue proudly supports artists at every level. Starting in our own communities and now reaching across the globe. We host several unique contests, each designed to celebrate creativity and make a meaningful impact through art.
We currently offer two exciting opportunities:
Local Artist Contests: Selected artists will be featured in gallery exhibitions and have their work published in our regionally-focused coloring books. These events highlight local talent and bring communities together through art and healing.
Global Artist Contests: Artists from around the world are invited to submit their original designs for inclusion in our international coloring books. These books are sold online and distributed to individuals in hospitals, shelters, and other healing spaces, offering comfort and inspiration through your creativity at no cost to the recipients.
All selected works are transformed into simplified line art for coloring, while honoring the original full-color piece and artist’s story.
